Trishla Foundation

Trishla Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to improving the lives of children and adolescents living with cerebral palsy. Located in India and extending its services to families from neighbouring countries, the foundation operates as a comprehensive centre for cerebral palsy treatment and rehabilitation. Its care model follows a multimodal approach, bringing together different therapeutic interventions to support the child’s overall development and well-being. The foundation provides a wide range of treatment and rehabilitation services, including counselling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education, hand therapy, and other specialised therapies. Children are also guided in essential daily living skills, sports and physical activities, the appropriate use of braces, and surgical care when clinically required. Established in 2014 by Dr. Jitendra Kumar Jain, Trishla Foundation has grown into a dedicated team of more than 40 experienced professionals focused on delivering comprehensive support to children with cerebral palsy. The foundation also places strong emphasis on parent education, helping families understand their child’s needs and actively participate in the rehabilitation process. Through this collaborative approach, the organisation aims to help people with cerebral palsy develop greater confidence, independence, and quality of life. One of the foundation’s distinctive features is its residential rehabilitation and parent-training programme. Under this model, children and their parents stay in Prayagraj (Allahabad) for approximately 3 to 6 months, allowing them to participate consistently in therapy and training programmes. This immersive arrangement is designed to maximise the benefits of rehabilitation while ensuring that accommodation and treatment remain accessible and affordable for families.
