Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (VIMS), Bangalore was established in the year of 2000 and promoted by Srinivasa trust. It has four academic institutions: Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences, Vydehi Institute of Nursing Sciences and Vydehi Institute of Biotechnology Sciences. The medical and dental institution is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The medical institution is approved by Medical Council of India and dental institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India.
